In 2010 SMS began to provide world class mining support services to mining companies within the West African region.
Our services include all aspects of mine development to mine production, from site clearance, to load and haul, drilling, blasting, pit dewatering, grade control and mobile crushing.
Latest Project
One of our latest projects included a TSF raise and contract mining both of which took place in a gold mine in Côte d’Ivoire!

Excavators 20T – 200T
As one of West Africa’s leading construction and contract mining businesses, SMS relies on an efficient and modern fleet of excavators catering for all the Company’s needs from production down to smaller technical jobs.
Rigid and Articulated Trucks
SMS has one of the largest haulage fleets in West Africa varying from 100T Rigid trucks, 35-45T Articulated Trucks and Road trucks allowing us to be able to tackle any job.
General Construction
SMS has all the supporting equipment required for Road Maintenance and construction, TSF construction and subsequent raises.
